Quicksilver Forums is a fast, feature rich bulletin board system written in PHP and MySQL.

Registration
· Option to require validation via email before making a registration complete
· Option for anti-robot registration to stop spammers registering through automated scripts
· Force users to agree to a Terms of Service contract before allowing registration
User options
· Users can list their details for instant messengers including MSN, ICQ, Yahoo, AIM and Gtalk
· Users can hide their email address but still be contacted via email through an interface on the board.
· Can access the board in 18 different languages
· Can set a custom avatar including options to use a Macromedia Flash file as an avatar.
· Can subscribe to get emails for updates to forums or topics
· Private Messaging for contacting any member on the board
· Recover lost passwords by generating a new one and validating via email
Forum features
· Full post formatting using BB code
· Polls and Votes available as a topic option
· Listing all new and updated topics since last visit
· Adding attachments to posts
· Image attachments can be viewed as part of the post
· Easy to use javascript tools to aid formatting posts
· Full post and title searching
All links use rel=“no follow” to discourage spammers

· Control access on a group, forum and user level
